We had quite the busy week with our lovely, lovely house guests beginning last Friday with Grandma (Hook's mother) through Tuesday then the arrival of Hook's college friends, Jennie & Dude, Thursday through today. We are all a little worn out, but what a blast! Needless to say, Cayman did lots of showing off and was full of new words! Here is just a taste... "YEH, YEH" has replaced good ole "YESSS"... "MOM" is now reverted back to "MOMMA" again. Putting "BYE, BYE" together with a name! "BYE BYE DUDE, JENNIE, DADDY" "OCTOPUS" we thought this one would take a while, shocked us tonight for sure! "I LOVE YOU" Last, but definitely not least, "GRANDMA". Melted all of our hearts!
Here's a little gem...disregard the camera work, obviously, she didn't need ANY help from me!
For those of you who have small chillins and aren't aware of this sweet little iPhone app, Peekaboo Barn, you should be. Our sweet friend Heather dropped in town visiting from LA last week. Cayman was playing with my phone and we decided to turn the app on because I think it is just too cute. Well Cayman was ready to show out and literally went through the whole app, stated the animal type and made the animal sound for each and every animal. She was just so proud of herself and as was I. We had no idea she was hiding this in her repertoire.
This is an awesome shot of some of our playgroup friends taken today by one of the mom's friends who is working on her portfolio, Katy Newgent. Think we will be seeing more of this talented photographer!

Preface: A few months back, Mama G and Papa G came to town with this sweet little baby doll. Of course, the honest child that they all are, wanted nothing to do with the sweet baby doll at the time. All of a sudden, this weekend rolled around and Cayman just took to that baby doll and named her "Behbee". Of course, I think the way she says "BehBee" is the cutest thing...picture that little underbite shut tight and moving those just those sweet little lips..."Behbee"...melts my heart. Just today, she gave BehBee a bath in Tupperware, dried off her hands and feet really well, strolled her in her stroller, made her some tea, made her do some forward rolls and covered her up with a dish cloth and put her to bed in her drawer. Is this the pretend world really beginning?
...and just one more reminder that my behbee is no longer the baby I keep claiming her to be...she tee-tee'd in the potty tonight...tear.
