Word of the Week Wednesday...sort of.

A Week in Arkansas Country while Daddy fishes!

Wednesday's word:  "FIRST"...

...time in a river ~ at TaTa, Big Steve, Aunt Say and Uncle B's place in Northeast AR on the the Little Red.  Quite a beautiful spot that neither Mom nor little bit have ever had a chance to visit.  We had a wonderful, lazy weekend near the water.

Quite an enchanting little spot I must say.

...time in a lake ~ Greer's Fairy

...time to meet baby Everett.  Such a sweet, sweet baby and that boy can sleep through anything!

...step!!!  SURPRISE!

...steps!!!

...time to wish her Great Grandmother (Nanny) a happy birthday with a big ole kiss!

...and perfecting at Grams and Pop Pop's!

...to meet baby Molly.  I'm in love!

Such a special AR visit thus far, spending time with family and friends, getting to meet two of my life-long besties' new babies...and seeing mine walk... I'll close with this little gem my mom and I found while cleaning out some storage...

Word of the Week Wednesday!

We are thrilled to have Cayman's cousins visiting while en route to their new home in Houston, but that hasn't left much time for new words due to the constant entertainment factor, although, here are a few that she is perfecting this week...

What is that?  "Cow"

What sound does a cow make?  "Muuoohhhh"

Prompted by Mom:  "One"

Cayman: "Two!"

Cousins shoot

Reed * Cayman * Rowan

It's a Tarpon Fan Club traffic jam!
Only documentation of Cayman's first Dallas Aquarium visit.  Isn't it  obvious that she was thrilled?

Word of the Week Wednesday

This one is for Grandpa Poole...

IT'S WORD OF THE WEEK WEDNESDAY!

"RACK-OR"

tractor

It was official when Cayman yelled "RACK-OR" when she saw this piece of machinery flying across the parking lot during our impromptu Home Depot visit this morning.  Not many real "RACK-ORS" on hand in the city, so we'll take what we can get!

My plan is to try to sneak in a photo of little bit on Wednesdays as well, but she has preferred that she not be photographed while under the weather...yes...believe we have had our first stomach virus.  NO BUENO!!

Caution to the wind...

Caution, smaution to the wind...

Think our little cautious one is getting some nerve up!
No need for much explanation, but all of these instances were complete surprises to us.  She is quite the head-strong gal, all the same, we continue to introduce her to new, fun, inspiring situations, but in her own time, she will learn and grow and I guarantee she knows a lot more than we think.
Enjoy!

Cayman has been fearful and unwanting of any type of riding toy other than her darrr, but Aunt Jenna places her on Mr. Truitt's train and away she rides.  Who knew?  Unfortunately, we didn't catch much of the action on video.

Another surprise while we were eating dinner, who knew?  Think she surprised herself as well.

No witnesses and still sooo proud.  Working everyday to perfect!  (Please excuse the video of video.)

Word of the Week Wednesdays

Word of the Week Wednesdays...

Well, it's a new thing and I'm already running late.  This is a play-off of a friend's "Wordless Wednesday" theme in hopes to force nothing less than a once-a-week post.  Enjoy!

"NO" (this one's a freebie)

"DARRR" (car)

"Daddee" (duh and saying this one for a long time, but it's so popular that it needs a special mention)

"Mom" (against my wishes, shortened from mommy)

"Dan Noo" (thank you, and used appropriately, happy about this one)

"Darrr"

Little Gym Wednesdays

Little Gym Wednesdays

I've enrolled Cayman in the last month of Summer Little Gym Classes.  Today we counted using our fingers, toes and sticks, did a balance beam exercise and forward rolls.  The teacher is adamant about getting her to walk...I say good luck! ;~)
